What's new this week on Apple Fitness+ ~ 16 Aug 21

This week, Apple Fitness have released again only 24 workouts. I wonder if this implies that they realise they are probably releasing too much content that users can handle and that they could lighten the load each week as the catalogue of workouts is quite substantial now. Currently there are 1051 workouts consisting of 21,300 minutes of workouts (that's equivalent to 355 hours of content!)

Something else to note is that since 7 Dec 20, the 10-minute Yoga workout was not released. Also unusual, is two 5-minute Mindful Cooldown workouts, which hasn't happened since 18 Jan 21.

Total minutes of all of this week's workout is 480, which if you wanted to complete, averages to about 69 minutes a day.

We have one new Time to Walk with Kurt Fearnley

"As part of a series on world-class athletes, this episode features three-time Paralympic gold medalist and two-time Commonwealth Games gold medalist Kurt Fearnley. The wheelchair athlete has competed in five consecutive Paralympic Games and won over 40 marathons. In this episode, Kurt talks about the first time he imagined a different kind of future for himself and why a grueling journey took on unexpected meaning."

This week's Trainer Top Picks again is non-existent! Could this be the demise of Top Picks? I will write about what Top Picks meant to me in this week's post.

That's it for this week's update. Hope you enjoyed it. If there's anything you want me to cover, let me know!

In the meantime, stay active, close your rings and see you next time.
