What's new this week on Apple Fitness+ ~ 19 Jul 21

This week, only 24 workouts. Which is 2 shy the normal. Nothing too unusual with the line-up. Total minutes of all of this week's workout is 465, which if you wanted to complete, averages to about 66 minutes a day.

We have one new Time to Walk with Joan Benoit Samuelson

"As part of a series on world-class athletes, this episode features Olympic gold medalist and marathon legend Joan Benoit Samuelson. She won the first-ever women's Olympic marathon in 1984 and has won several major marathons. Joan is the only woman to have run a sub-three-hour marathon in five different decades. She shares how it felt to make history and what inspires her to keep running."

It's probably quite easy to see why they have chosen Joan, given that the Olympics have started in Japan. I can imagine how she can be inspirational for women, runners and older adults. Looking forward to give her a listen.

This week's Trainer Top Picks is by Kym. These feature a great week of ride, row and run (loving the alliteration!). Starting this week off, personally, I've done 2 of 7 of them. A 45-minute Treadmill seems a bit daunting, but I will strive to complete in, at least on the weekend. With rowing, I am loving my new Life Fitness HX Rower which is the one they are using in the workouts. Feels so good!

That's it for this week's update. Let me know if this is useful or interesting.

In the meantime, stay active, close your rings and see you next time.
